Public Market Food Truck Rodeo Series Continues Wednesday with The Original Saints

(Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025) – The City of Rochester’s popular Food Truck Rodeo series continues with live music performed by the Occasional Saints from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.

Primarily performing original songs by keyboard player P.V. Nunes, The Occasional Saints bring a Big Easy vibe to their own brand of New Orleans jazz, swing and blues. Rochester Beacon music critic Frank De Blase says this six-piece ensemble plays with a Big Easy vibe that is “as real as it can possibly get without a round-trip ticket. It hurts where it should and soothes the burn the rest of the time.”

The City of Rochester Public Market’s Food Truck Rodeos attract thousands of food and music lovers to get their fill of Rochester flavors. Dozens of food trucks offer a variety of creative dishes, drinks, and desserts.

Food Truck Rodeos at the City of Rochester Public Market take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month through September. Following this Wednesday’s event, the final event will feature Steve Grills and the Roadmasters on Sept. 24.

Nearby parking is limited, so attendees are encouraged to carpool, bike, use transit, or walk to the event. Folding chairs are recommended due to limited seating on Market grounds.

The City of Rochester Food Truck Rodeos are sponsored by the City of Rochester, Rohrbach Brewing Company, and the Market District Business Association.
