This is a troubling incident—especially heartbreaking that a 16-year-old was injured while mishandling a firearm. It’s a stark reminder of how dangerous unsupervised access to weapons can be. I'm relieved the injuries are non‑life‑threatening, but it’s essential we support education and prevention efforts to ensure this doesn’t happen again. My thoughts are with those affected.
