Details: The Rochester City School District’s Office of Parent Engagement and Transportation Department, in partnership with Monroe Transportation and its sister brand, Durham School Services, will host the Operation Warm Winter Coat Giveaway. The event will provide more than 800 new winter coats to RCSD students in grades PreK–6. Operation Warm is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality coats to children in need. Their programs aim to offer not only physical warmth but also confidence, a sense of belonging, and hope for a brighter future. Families registered in advance to participate, which is why the event is not open to the public.  This ensures that every coat reaches a child identified through District outreach.
