MVA involving RTS Bus: 7/2/25

Rochester, NY- Earlier this evening the Rochester Police Department responded to the corner of Mt. Hope and Comfort St. for the MVA involving an RTS bus. Officers learned that an RTS bus was facing north bound, stopped at the corner picking up and letting passengers off when it was rear ended by a vehicle traveling north bound as well. No passengers on the bus were injured however, the driver of the car a 21 year old male and his 10 year old male passenger were transported to Strong Hospital with minor non- life threatening injuries for evaluation. There were no tickets issued.
