Murder Update – Victim ID17 Niagara St

The man shot and killed last evening on Niagara St. is identified as 38-year-old Roger Coley Jr. Coley lived at the apartment on Niagara St. There are no suspects in custody at this time.

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

On August 1, 2025 at about 11:45 pm officers were called to an apartment on Niagara St. for the report of a person shot. Upon arrival they found a man in his 30s, inside suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation has revealed the shooting appears to have been the result of an argument that escalated.
