Murder Investigation Update: Victim ID on Warwick Avenue

The person killed last night on Warwick Ave has been identified as 16-year-old Aajion Wright, City of Rochester resident.

ORIGINAL NOTIFY
On October 9, 2025 at about 11:00 PM officer were called to an address in the 100 block of Warwick Ave. for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found a 16-year-old male in a driveway, between two houses, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to URMC by AMR and was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
The victim did not live in the neighborhood and Major Crimes Homicide detectives are in the process of determining the circumstances that led up to the murder as well as why the victim was there.
