Who: Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, will hold its second community pet care event of the year on Thursday, August 20. Community pet care events are designed to provide resources, including pet food, supplies, and educational information to pet owners throughout the Greater Rochester area. Lollypop Farm’s experienced staff and veterinary team will be available to answer questions and connect community members with impactful programs and services.
What: Vaccines will be available to CATS ONLY while supplies last. This is a first-come, first-served event. Cats are required to be secured in a carrier, crate, or safe enclosure.
Where: The event will take place at the Hochstein School, located at 50 N. Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, N.Y. 14614. Please note – parking options are limited.
When: The event takes place on Thursday, August 20, 2026. It will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Staff may finish earlier if vaccines are exhausted.
Why: Preventative care is a critical part of keeping your pet healthy and happy. Our community has opportunities for vaccination clinics to help provide for your beloved pet, including two additional community pet care events for dogs on Thursday, September 3 at Connected Communities Neighborhood Hub and Tuesday, October 6 at The People’s Pantry.
New York State requires that dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets receive specific vaccinations to prevent the spread of infectious and harmful diseases among animal populations. Lollypop Farm is committed to offering support, veterinary care, educational outreach, food, and more to help pet owners provide their animals with the best care possible.
