The International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave., will host its fifth annual International Day of Salsa from 1 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23. This free, family-friendly celebration will showcase the energy, passion, and diversity of Latin music, salsa dancing, and culture.
This year’s celebration will feature Gaby Zambrano, “La Leona de la Salsa,” and Las Damas de la Salsa, along with DJs and special guests. Families and community members are invited to enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment, dancing, and delicious Latin favorites.
Limited parking is available onsite. Carpooling, walking, cycling, and public transit use are encouraged.
International Day of Salsa is presented in partnership with the City of Rochester and the Ibero-American Development Corporation (IADC).
International Plaza is a cornerstone of Rochester’s Northeast neighborhoods, offering a welcoming space where families and visitors can enjoy music, food, culture, and special programming that highlights the contributions of immigrants and Latinos to Rochester’s cultural and economic vibrancy.
