Free Dog Adoption Saturday, May 2

On Saturday, May 2, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Rochester Animal Services invites the Rochester community to find their forever friend for free. Approved adopters can adopt dogs for free from Rochester Animal Services as part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelters” program, which works with organizations nationwide to reduce adoption fees and make pet adoption accessible to more families.

Fifteen dogs are currently available for adoption at Rochester Animal Services, 184 Verona St., and all will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped as part of the adoption process. Dogs who have already been spayed or neutered can go home the same day. Interested adopters must bring a valid ID and a leash and collar.
