Food Truck Rodeo Returns to Rochester’s Public Market April 29

Rochester, NY - Rochester’s popular Food Truck Rodeo returns to the City of Rochester Public Market at 280 N. Union St. tomorrow, with plenty of food and featuring local band Big Lake.

The Food Truck Rodeo series brings together dozens of Rochester’s favorite food trucks serving a wide variety of creative mobile eats, and pairs them with live, local sounds – come early for the food and stay late for the music.

The Food Truck Rodeo happens from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month, April through September. Mark your calendars for the following dates and bands:

April 29 – Big Lake

May 27 – A Girl Named Genny

June 24 – Junk Yard Field Trip

July 29 – Miller & the Other Sinners

August 26 – Earthtones

September 30 – Mr. Heartache

“Every April, Rochesterians are more than ready for the first Food Truck Rodeo of the year, because they can return to their favorite food trucks, try some new ones, and enjoy the iconic community gathering place that is our Public Market,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans.

Limited parking is available at and around the Market. Patrons are encouraged to carpool, walk, bike, or use public transit, and are reminded to bring folding chairs and even small folding tables, due to limited seating on Market grounds.
