East Ave./Alexander St. MVA Investigation

Rochester, NY- On 10/13/25 at approximately 12:09 a.m. the Rochester Police Department responded to the intersection of East Ave./Alexander St. for the report of a motor vehicle accident with a person trapped.  Upon arrival it was determined that there was in fact no one trapped in either vehicle. 


The subsequent investigation revealed a 35 year old, male, City of Rochester resident was operating a 2023 Kia SUV on Alexander St. in a southbound direction, while a 61 year old, male, City of Rochester resident was operating a 2020 GMC SUV on East Ave. in an eastbound direction. 


Both vehicle entered the intersection of East Ave./Alexander St. and collided.  The driver of the Kia SUV was transported via AMR ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  Neither alcohol nor speed are believed to be contributing factors.  The investigation is on-going.
