Details:

DaJuan “DJ” Jackson, a 2025 graduate of the Rochester City School District’s Edison Career and Technology High School and current SUNY Brockport student, will host a community give-back event on Monday, December 22, focused on supporting individuals and families facing hardship during the winter months.

In partnership with Cameron Community Ministries, SUNY Brockport’s Educational Opportunity Program, and T&D Catering, the event will provide hot meals, including soup, bread, and hot chocolate, and distribute more than 400 winter clothing items such as hats, gloves, and other cold-weather essentials.

The event is themed as a “wrapped gift,” symbolizing care, compassion, and dignity, to ensure every attendee feels supported and valued during the holiday season.

This initiative aims to serve as the foundation for an ongoing community effort, with plans to host similar give-back events annually or semiannually to address seasonal needs throughout the year
