Celebrity Bartending Event at Porto Roc Soxial Lounge to Benefit Gisele’s World During Autism Awareness Month

Rochester, NY - An evening of purpose, community, and impact is coming to Porto Roc Soxial Lounge as local leaders and influencers take on the role of celebrity bartenders on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in support of Gisele’s World. The event will also feature a raffle, along with a special appearance by celebrity guest speaker Jason McElwain “JMac” whose inspiring story of perseverance—highlighted by his unforgettable performance as a high school basketball player that captured national attention—continues to motivate audiences across the country.

Held during Autism Awareness Month, the event aims to bring the community together for an evening of connection, purpose, and impact — all while raising critical funds to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

Gisele’s World was founded through lived experience and a deep commitment to inclusion. Inspired by the journey of a mother and her daughter, the organization was created to address the very real gaps families face every day — from limited safe recreational spaces to environments that lack understanding and accommodation.

At the heart of its mission is the vision to create an Autism Art and Play Center — a dedicated space designed to foster creativity, confidence, and connection through art, play, and community. This center will provide a welcoming environment where children of all abilities feel seen, valued, and empowered, while offering families a place of support, belonging, and relief.

The Celebrity Bartending Event will feature local leaders and community influencers serving as guest bartenders, helping to draw a crowd, increase awareness, and maximize fundraising efforts. Their participation transforms a fun night out into a meaningful movement for inclusion.

“Every time we come together like this, we’re doing more than raising funds — we’re building something bigger,” said event organizer Yesenia Ramos-Torres. “We’re creating awareness, strengthening community, and helping bring a vision to life that so many families need.”

Funds raised during the event will directly support:

• The development of the Autism Art and Play Center

• Creation of inclusive, sensory-aware environments

• Expanded outreach and support for families navigating autism

Community members are invited to attend, support their favorite celebrity bartender, and be part of an evening that blends purpose with celebration.
