Rochester, NY – Ready, set, trivia! Literacy Rochester will host its 26th Annual Brain Game Trivia Competition fundraiser on Thursday, October 22, 2026, 5-8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.
Each year, Brain Game brings together the Rochester community for evening of trivia and friendly competition, raising critical funds to expand access to adult literacy programs. Team knowledge is tested with questions in various categories, but only one team takes home the coveted Brain Trophy and title of Brain Game Champion, an honor claimed by NFP Telecom last year. In addition to the trivia competition, the event features an online auction, cash raffle, and other opportunities to support Literacy Rochester’s mission.
“The Brain Game trivia tournament has been our primary fundraiser for the past 25 years, helping to raise more than $738,000 to support our vital programing, said, Joshua Stapf, Executive Director, Literacy Rochester. “Teams love the fast-paced trivia and opportunity to connect, collaborate, and support an important cause. The community comes together for a night that turns trivia into impact by directly supporting Rochester’s adult literacy programs.”
Organizations of all sizes can get involved through sponsorship opportunities, team participation, advertising, or donating to the online auction. Past supporters include Vision Financial Group, Monroe Community College, and Underberg & Kessler LLP and they welcome new challengers.
