Rochester, NY — July 2026 The Black Culture Festival (BCF) is proud to announce the return of its 7th Annual Black Culture Festival, taking place Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Parcel 5 in Downtown Rochester.
This year's theme, "Homecoming," celebrates the powerful connection between education, school pride, and Black culture. Attendees are encouraged to represent their alma mater—from Rochester City Schools and surrounding districts to HBCUs, colleges, universities, trade schools, fraternities, and sororities—as the community comes together for one unforgettable celebration.
"Homecoming is about more than football games and reunions," said Founder Will Powers. "It's about celebrating where we came from, honoring those who helped shape us, and inspiring the next generation to continue building our legacy."
The free festival will feature a full day of entertainment and activities including:

● More than 50 local businesses, food vendors, and community organizations
The Black Culture Festival has become one of Rochester's premier cultural celebrations,
attracting thousands of attendees while supporting local entrepreneurs, artists, students, and
nonprofit organizations.
