Assault on an Officer Arrest

Rochester, NY - Around 11:15pm, last night, Officers were handling a domestic incident on Holworthy Street when the suspect, 50-year old Stephen Fuller, took his shirt off in the street and began yelling threats towards the victim. Fuller was belligerent towards Officers and was eventually taken into custody. As Officers were assisting Fuller into the patrol car, he leaned back and kicked a uniformed Officer in the face, causing injury.

The Officer was treated by AMR at the scene and Fuller was transported to the Monroe County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Rochester City Court.

Stephen Fuller, age 50, is charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. Additionally, he was served with a bench warrant for missing court relative to his arrest on August 10, 2025, when he was issued an appearance ticket for Resisting Arrest.
