Applications Open for Rochester Community University


City residents are invited to learn how to access the many resources available through City Hall at Rochester Community University, a series of six workshops designed to help interested residents advocate for themselves and their neighborhoods. 

 

I encourage residents to register for Rochester Community University and learn about resources and the art of advocacy to champion positive change for themselves and their neighbors," said Mayor Malik D. Evans." Civic discourse is critical to building a stronger, more vibrant community; we all have a role to play in creating a city of hope where every resident has the opportunity to gain knowledge of the comprehensive plan that guides Rochester's growth. Explore the wide array of offerings at City libraries and the range of services available through the Neighborhood Service Centers. Get guidance on addressing Rochester City Council learn how legislation is drafted, and much more. 

 

Workshops take place at City Hall from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 2 and applications are being accepted through September 16. Apply online at www.cityofrochester.gov/community-university.
