Applications Now Open: Excellus BCBS 2026 Health Equity Innovation Awards

Rochester, NY - Excellus BlueCross BlueShield has opened the application portal for its 2026 Health Equity Innovation Awards, inviting nonprofit organizations to apply for funding that supports innovative, community-based solutions to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes.

Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations within Excellus BCBS’s service area can apply online at ExcellusBCBS.com.

The application period runs from Wednesday, January 14 at 10:00 a.m. through Friday, March 6 at 11:59 p.m.

Funding priorities include:

• Managing chronic conditions

• Improving maternal health

• Supporting mental and behavioral health

• Addressing social determinants of health

Awards will recognize programs that demonstrate measurable impact and innovation, such as introducing new approaches, leveraging technology, or building meaningful collaborations.
