2026 ROC the Block Community Employment Fairs



Rochester, NY - The 2026 season of the ROC the Block Community Employment Fairs kicks off from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Paul Bianchi Park, 945 Emerson St.

 

ROC the Block is a community-based hiring initiative that brings businesses and recruiters to the city’s four quadrants throughout the summer and early fall. With this fun, local, block-party-style event, Rochester employers and residents can meet to discover employment opportunities.

 

More than 120 employers are registered to participate, including the University of Rochester, Wegmans, Coca-Cola, RTS, Kodak, Bausch and Lomb, and many more.

 

The City of Rochester’s Workforce Development Mobile Unit will also be available with Wi-Fi access and laptops that attendees can use for updating their résumés and completing job applications.

 

The remaining ROC the Block Community Employment Fairs will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following Wednesdays:

  • July 15: Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St.

  • Aug. 19: Salvation Army, 100 West Ave.

  • Sept. 24: Parcel 5, 285 E. Main St.
