NYS DEC Bid Advertisement for Contract No. D012980

Sealed bids for the Dearcop Farm Soil Consolidation and Cover System, Contract No. D012980, will be received by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Management and Budget Services, 625 Broadway, 10th Floor, Albany, New York, 12233-5027, Attn: Bureau of Expenditures until the time of 1:00 PM (EST) and on the date of Thursday, March 14, 2024

 

The project involves the implementation of remedial activities at the Dearcop Farm Site, located at 92 Dearcop Road, Town of Gates, Monroe County, New York. The remedial activities include, but are not necessarily limited to, 1) mobilization/demobilization; 2) site clearing and grubbing; 3) subgrade shaping and establishment of drainage 4) installation of landfill cover system; 5) site grading and restoration; 6) cleaning of adjacent culvert; 7) decommissioning of existing monitoring wells; and 8) placement of gravel turnaround.

 

The estimated range for this work is: $2.5 Million to $5 Million

Proposals will be accepted only from bidders who attend the Pre-Bid Conference. All proposals must be made on the official proposal forms and returned in double sealed envelopes to the recipient indicated in the Contract Documents. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit or a bid bond in the amount of five-percent (5%) of total bid amount. All Bidders must attend a Pre-Bid Conference to discuss special requirements for the contract, to be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Site starting at 11:00 AM (EST).  ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AS A CONDITION OF BIDDING.
